First Aid - Pocket Guide has been created by professional ambulance paramedics to help in medical emergency situations.

One of the most important things you can have in your pocket is a trustworthy first aid guide from PARASOL EMT, a premier provider of first aid, OHS and advanced life support training, consultancy and equipment.

It provides simple to follow information and treatment guides, including an introduction to first aid, essentials of first aid, most common trauma and medical emergencies.

When you are confronted with a situation that requires first aid, you will most likely have your phone with you. With the First Aid - Pocket Guide app installed on your iPhone or iPod Touch, you will have first aid information easily accessible that you can trust and rely upon.

This app is ideal for families, travellers, outdoor enthusiasts, sports men and women, motorists, teachers, youth workers, camp leaders, parents and anyone who wants to be prepared for a medical emergency.

This could be the most important app you have on your phone.

Note: Emergency numbers relevant to US residents.

Pros and cons of First Aid Pocket Guide app for iPhone and iPad

First Aid Pocket Guide app good for

Best First Aid app , very detailed and well thought out , Large amount of info. Will always be in my pocket.
I bought some of the other first aid apps but decided this one was worth a look because of the backing it has from a reputable first aid company and was not disappointed. Will use this to brush up on my first aid knowledge and its good to know the information is on hand in an emergency.

Some bad moments

Always good to have accurate info at your fingertips. Well organized first aid app. Hope I never need to use it, but if I do its good to know in a panic I can find what I need.
Very basic app. Not worth paying for. Google will serve you better.
This program although good dose not take into consideration a situation where calling 911 is not an option. I nees to know what i need to do to save someones live not just keep them good enough till help arives
This application has an appealing interface but lacks important information, eg. heat-related illness and other essential and probable situations.
Just bought the First Aid Pocket Guide(LOL software) and down loaded it to my ipod touch with 3.0 update. When the First Aid Pocket Guide loads, the screen comes up briefly (offical First aid -pocket guide) and then it goes Blank. What do we need to fix this problem.
Needs toddler information and needs more basic info on same/ Toddlers. Like falls, hitting head, objects stuck in throat, and so on. Also needs more on life saving and basic first aid. It is a great start but lacks. Toddlers are into everything and parents need to be prepaired and not panic.
